Victoria has served as both an on-screen contributor and off-screen consultant for a number of historical documentaries made by BBC Two, Channel 4, Channel 5, History Hit, Sky History and many other distributors. More recently, she served as a researcher and assistant producer on Series 11 of the Smithsonian Channel series Air Warriors, as well as featuring in several episodes of the documentary as an historical expert on the Royal Air Force and the Luftwaffe. Thus, she is passionate about historians disseminating their expertise both in front of and behind the camera to achieve the highest quality of historical programming.

She also frequently contributes to historical programming via radio and podcasts, serving as narrator, co-writer, and historical consultant on ‘Inside the Battle of Britain’ in 2020: the second series of the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund podcast series ‘All Stations’. This five-part series was nominated for a Best Independent Podcast award by the Radio Academy in 2021.

She returned to ‘All Stations’ in Series Three, narrating and co-writing two episodes on the inspiring story of the Guinea Pig Club. In 2020, she presented and co-wrote a programme on Supermarine’s development of the Spitfire for BBC Radio 4 (‘Spitfire: From The Ashes’), in addition to serving as an expert contributor alongside Diane Morgan and Matthew Parris for the ‘Great Lives’ episode on Air Chief Marshal Sir Hugh Dowding. She was also interviewed on Dowding’s life and legacy by Professor Mike Clarke for the British Forces Broadcasting Service (BFBS) in November 2024.

Victoria has also discussed her PhD research on a number of podcasts, from James Holland and Al Murray’s ‘We Have Ways Of Making You Talk’, to Dan Snow’s ‘History Hit’. Her contributions via the media have spanned topics that include the Royal Flying Corps, the Luftwaffe, the Royal Air Force, the evacuation of Dunkirk, the Battle of Britain, the Blitz, the Combined Allied Strategic Bombing Offensive, the Dambusters, the V1 and V2 programmes, a variety of military aircraft, and many more.
